What do I do when I have a destroyed storage pit and I don't have any goods to create a new one? confused confused confused

There's nothing you can do. The game is lost.
The storage pit is the most important building. Defend him well.

If it's on a field you've just captured, you have to get a unit and resources there. Either use a cart (load it up elsewhere and move it) or research coinage.
