Ideas for the great game! Empty Ideas for the great game!

I have some ideas for the game:

* The most important thing: A LEVEL EDITOR
  With a level editor the game would be 1000 times better.

* New buildings, maybe some stronger walls or new doors!

* Last but not least a new unit (warmachine). The stone catapult! Yeah, a stonecatapult. It would be a new kind of the stonethrower, but stronger! (and it would be the only ranged battle machine)

Sorry for too many commas, i am german (austrian) and i dont know this, cuz' im not good in english xD cheers

Many thanks for your ideas!

* Maybe I'll even create a level editor. I've created no level editor till now, because I think it does not improve the game play. The game is still the same. In addition, it would be possible to build many nonsensical things that bring the game to its limits. The game needs to be stable first.

* I think I'll implement something for the next release.

* You're right. A catapult must be in every medieval siege game. I really like to implement it, but since it is a One Man project, all these functions are going to need some time.

Don't mind about commas. My German is better than my English :-)

I really like to add multiplayer. I'll start with the implementation soon, but I'm not sure if I'll manage it. I never coded multiplayer before and since I just code in my free time it might take a loooong time to finish :-/

I think by level editor he means map editor. Like build your own map or scenario.

You don't need a catapult. make a sedge tower, add a span flag to it, buy coinage, and spawn archers on it while attacking.
This works even on a page with an enemy flag on it. The only problem is game lags when enemy starts spawning archers or stone throwers.
But mine can kill a knight in two hits. enemy is smart however in sending battering rams at me which archers cant damage so keep like 3 or 4 knights at the bottom for protection.

This game is great. and a new addition would be awesome. but you don't want it to be too easy right :}

I think expanding the game onto a browser format will make the game available to more people. An online version of this game would be cool! PvP battles, better economy (using wood and stone to build and resources to make units). So in summary, here are my ideas:
-Browser Game for High Treason
-Making 2 new resources : Stone and Wood, which can be harvested by 2 new units: Woodsmen and Stoneworkers
-PvP battles
-Sand, a structure that will slow down incoming troops
-Pikes, a structure that will kill any cavalry that goes through it
I hope you will continue updating and making the game even better. I am wildly recommending the game to all my friends.

- A browser version would be great, but I don't have the knowledge.
- I also kept thinking about the resource wood. Growing trees would be nice. But I'm not sure if it really improves the game play. It's a feature for the futue.
- I work right now on PvP but I'm not sure if I get it work. It's the first time I try to create a multiplayer game.
- Sand and Pikes area good ideas. These I have never thought. Could also ba features fot the future.

You could do a woodsman that grows and harvests trees in the farming zone. Places the wood resource on a new pallet. Then you can craft wooden items like cart, battering ram, siege tower, and drawbridge.

Thats a good idea. But for now, I focus on multiplayer. It will take some months to finish. After this I'll have time do implement ideas like yours.
